Maybe she was reluctant to say any more, for fear that her father would start calling her Sammy.

::grins:: You do know it's total fanon that Jacob calls her "Sammy," right? :)

I love Daniel refusing the "Danny" nickname. It's great to see the slow mutual rapport/respect growing here!

It wasn’t until Daniel was sitting in the passenger seat of the car and everyone else was sneaking past the fence that he realized with some chagrin why Jack had told him to listen to Teal’c: Teal’c didn’t try to give him orders very often outside of the gym, so he’d never gotten into the habit of arguing over orders the way he had with Jack. He frowned, wondering if they’d planned it like this, and resolved to pay more attention to that in the future.

Oh, that is just awesome. I love Daniel's insight, what his says about his relationship with not only Teal'c but also with Jack, and yes - Jack really is that intelligent. Excellent!

Nice tense little scene with the ATF guys, and I am scandalized at the suggestion that there's anything Daniel and Jack can't manage to communicate via eyebrow! ;)

I really, really liked the conversation about saving Seth's host - it was honest and genuine. Yes, of course we'll save him if we can - but the needs of the many, and so on.

Oooh. Just had a thought - what will Daniel do when he discovers that Seth looks exactly like his father? Are you planning to use that plot point, or ignore the detail of the same actor playing both characters?

“The name’s MacGyver,” Jack answered flippantly. “But you can call me Mac.”

::sporfles::

Daniel and Teal'c and Jacob and Mark and Ry'ac - oh, wow, that was good. Nice and messily complicated!

::sighs:: You'll be posting the next installment sometime in the next half hour, right? :)
